USS Seawolf

The aging Halibut was replaced by the USS Seawolf, SSN 575. It's rumored that the Seawolf conducted the final reconnaissance on the K-129 prior to it's recovery by the CIA.

The USS Seawolf underwent extensive modifications while assigned to Submarine Development Group One, including the insertion of a 100 foot section to accommodate the sophisticated equipment needed to perform its special missions.
